Hi, I'm Ms. Maria Elena Weiss. I had a car accident on May 9th, 1995 in which
I suffered a brain stem injury. I'm in a wheelchair;
I can talk, I walk with a walker for exercise and
I'm learning to be a whiz on the computer.
At the time of my accident I was a music therapy student at The University of the Pacific
in Stockton, California. I worked with mentally challenged children,
where I sang and played the guitar.
Now I spend most of my days exercising, making sure my body is in prime condition for
when stem cells become available to me.
I also like making greeting cards.
My cards brings me joy, I like how I can touch people in a positive way with my artwork!
I love music, some of my favorite musicians are Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, John Mayer and
I'm crazy about Blue Man Group!

With blue man kisses all over my face and a special blue friend over my shoulder,
